SERUNDING |
While researching on this project, I came across many food items that I've always seen but never tried before. Despite living in a country rich with many cultures, I've stuck to choosing only familiar ingredients for my nasi padang, mainly because I didn't want to hold up a queue made up of hungry people, and asking "oh what's this?"
Serunding was one dish I would never have picked out at a nasi padang stall, but WOW this unassuming gem sure packs a punch! It is so very flavourful, and I couldn't stop piling this coconutty yumminess on my rice. Try it if you haven't! (or maybe #sataysolo just does a mean serunding)
